Today's author spotlight focuses on sci-fi writer and sports reporter John Coon. John made his debut as a fiction author with the release of Pandora Reborn in June, 2018. Pandora Reborn follows Ron Olson, a newcomer to Deer Falls, who is drawn into a battle with a mysterious ancient witch after she is released from an unearthed chest. Ron must find a way to stop the witch before she destroys the small Colorado town and everyone he loves.
When he isn't crafting suspenseful novels, John works as a sports reporter for the Associated Press and Athlon Sports. He covers NBA basketball, NCAA football, and NCAA basketball for those media outlets. John has worked as a reporter since graduating from the University of Utah in 2004. He lives in Utah and can be found hiking a trail and snapping photographs when he isn't working.
John's second novel, Under a Fallen Sun, is scheduled to be released this month. This science fiction thriller follows a group of Louisiana college students who become trapped in an isolated Texas town under siege from an extraterrestrial adversary.
